Northern Land Council (NLC) is seeking a Property Officer to manage properties that support staff, operations and Traditional Owners across urban and remote Northern Territory communities. About the Role:
As a Property Officer, you will be part of a dedicated Property & Assets team responsible for coordinating and supporting the management of residential and commercial properties across the NLC’s seven regions.
You will be involved in leasing, inspections, maintenance coordination and contractor engagement, ensuring properties are safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Working closely with internal teams, regional staff, landlords and service providers, this role offers a diverse workload across urban and remote contexts, with opportunities to build strong relationships and contribute to continuous improvement in property management practices.
The role is ideal for someone who can balance day‑to‑day operational responsibilities with effective stakeholder engagement, while contributing to meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
What you will Bring:
You are an experienced property professional with a sound understanding of residential and/or commercial property management. You are highly organised, detail‑focused and confident working with leases, compliance requirements and maintenance coordination and you communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including contractors, landlords and internal teams.
